Applicants with Advanced Placement


Applicants who have completed Advanced Placement courses in appropriate subjects with a grade of four or more may receive transfer credits equivalent to a maximum of two courses (12 credits). Applicants must also meet the regular university admission requirements since AP courses are not accepted in lieu of these.

Enrolment  Only a limited number of students are admitted to first-year. Applicants who meet the minimum entrance requirements are not guaranteed admission.

Application procedure (full-time studies)  if you are a High School Applicant
All candidates who wish to study in a full-time degree program must submit a completed application form to the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), through COMPASS.101, OUAC's online application centre at www.ouac.on.ca

Application procedure (full-time studies) if you are not currently attending High School
All candidates who wish to study in a full-time degree program must complete the OUAC 105 form, which is available online at www.ouac.on.ca

Application procedure (part-time studies)
Candidates who wish to study on a part-time basis must apply for admission directly to Laurentian University. You must fill out and send the Admission Form as well as the Fees Invoice form, along with the appropriate admission fee.  Both forms are located on our Admission Forms page.
