General requirements for Ontario secondary school applicants

Laurentian University, summer 2010

Ontario secondary school students who apply for admission to first year at Laurentian University must present an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), as well as at least six grade 12 4U/4M courses (as specified in each program listing) with the minimum grade requirements. Prerequisites may vary for each program.

* The Health Promotion, Kinesiology and Outdoor Adventure Leadership programs are offered only in English but Francophone students may choose to take a good number of courses in the French language. In this case, they must have one 4U Français course for admission.

Enrolment:  Only a limited number of students are admitted to first-year. Applicants who meet the minimum entrance requirements are not guaranteed admission.

 

Application procedure (full-time studies)

All candidates who wish to study in a full-time degree program must submit a completed application form to the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), through COMPASS.101, OUAC's online application centre at www.ouac.on.ca

 

Application procedure (part-time studies)

Candidates who wish to study on a part-time basis must apply for admission directly to Laurentian University. You must fill out and send the Admission Form as well as the Fees Invoice form, along with the appropriate admission fee.  Both forms are located on our Admission Forms page.
