My Login dosen't work.  What do I do?

Let's start by looking at your accounts.  At Laurentian you will need access to various computer systems:

• Webmail - for your email
• Webadvisor - for course registration (add and drop)
• WebCT - this is an online course delivery system.  Your profs will address this when you start your course

Your user name is the same for all 4 systems.  Example: cr_fink

Your Webmail password conisits of your birth date, plus the last 3 digits of your Laurentian University student number:  mmddyy###    You can reset your password through the Webmail interface.

Your Webadvisor password has been emailed to your Webmail account.  Look for a message from "Datatel Master".  This email contains your Webadvisor password.  You can reset your password through the Webadvisor interface.

Your WebCT password conisits of your birth date, plus the last 3 digits of your Laurentian University student number:  mmddyy###   You can reset your password through the WebCT interface.

Your Novell password conisits of your birth date, plus the last 3 digits of your Laurentian University student number:  mmddyy###    You can reset your password here.

Some students prefer to reset their passwords so that they all match.  This way they only need to keep track on once username and one password for access to all of Laurentian's online tools.  This is up to you.
