Immigration: Politics and Society

This course examines the politics and policies of immigration and their impacts on society from a comparative perspective including Canada, the US, France, Germany, and the UK. It also discusses the associated models of integration of immigrants within societies. PREREQ: Minimum 60 university credits or permission of the department. Cross-listed with SOCI 4226. Students may not retain credit for both POLI 4226 and SOCI 4226.
